DEADARE BROUGHT TO LIFE THROUGH ADRENAL INJECTION 4 Doctors Report Success of Resuscitation After Death. By United Press CHICAGO, April s.—The dead can be made to live again by injection of adenalin, an extract of the adrenal glands, into the heart within eight to ten minutes after death, providing the cause of death is removed, Dr. Daniel W. Dr. Crile, in a report to the Chicago Medical Society and the Chicago Society of Anesthetists, said that the resuscitation method had been applied on persons pronounced dead and the subjects are now living. Inasmuch as removal of the cause of death is most essential, the injections are of greatest value in the operating room where patients die under anaesthetic, Crile asserted. Dr. Crile said so far as has used this treatement only on' persons officially pronounced dead. "Hereafter I propose, to employ it upon persons who are dying,” he stated. The method calls for large injecof the gland extract directly Sto the heart with a hypodermic MILK AND CLOTHING ASKED FOR NEAR EAST A car load of condensed milk to feed babies of the Near Fast, is the goal of the Near East Relief committee, 628 People's Bank building.
