KINNEY COMPARES CHASE OF SITU TO LANAHAM HUNT 'Watchful Waiting’ Is Detective Captain's Policy in Murder Case, “It's a game of watchful waiting," said Captain of Detectives Jerry Kinney today, discussing the search for Albert Smith, 32, alleged slayer of the vvoma ie loved, Theresa Perry, 43, of 729 Rochester Ave. Mrs. Perry was stabbed to death Monday night at her home with an old-fashioned bayonet. "You never can tell what a murderer will do in escaping,” Kinney said. “Smith, who has traveled In all parts of the country stealing rides on trains ever since he was 14, might be expected to ‘bum* a train ride. Still, he might be hiding In Indianapolis, or he may have paid hla way on a train or interurban. We know he had less than $8 which he borrowed from his brother, Frank Smith, 1219 W. ThirtySecond St." Lanaham Hunt Recalled Kinney’s statement was made after the similarity between the murder of Mrs. Perry and that of Mrs. Perry Lanaham had been discussed. Mrs. Lanaham was killed by her husband several years ago with an Ice pick. He escaped on a motorcycle. No trace of him was found for many months. Captain Kinney said It was a "case of watchful waiting.” Lanaham was aught In a raid on a rooming house at Peoria, 111. Detectives believe the • earch for Smith may prove a similar long chase. Three more witnesses will be heard by Coroner Robinson. Jenny Gennelj Perry. 10, niece of the dead woman, the only eye witness of the murder, testified Tuesday. Chronic Bad Breath Destroys Your Charm The late Elbert Hubbard used to say that he would agree with any Judge who would rule that chronic bad breath was sufficient cause for divorce. Whether Elbert suffered from a stenographer with bad teeth or a foreman with pyorrhea is a question only he could answer, but the fact remains that a chronic bad breath comes from Infected gums or decaying teeth. If your breath is bad ittend to your teeth. All doubt a to your ability to extract teelh without pain has been dispelled.
