FORCES UNITE FOR SPRING CLEAN-DP Civic Organizations Join City in Campaign, Civic organizations, citizens, the fire department and other city departments will assist the city street cleaning department in the main drive of the annual spring clean-up to be started next Tuesday, John F. Walker, superintendent of the street cleaning department. said today. Although the street cleaning department is working at the present time and has completed cleaning the north and east parts of the city, the force will be increased to a day and night shift from Tuesday morning until the campaign closes, Walker said.
