BUS AND TRACTION GROUPS SEEK NEW LOCAL TERMINALS Motor Transportation Men Consider Erecting $60,000 Building. Traction lines and motor bus lines simultaneously are considering the construction of new terminals in Indianapolis. Traction lines have arranged to file suit against the State to condemn the land on Kentucky Ave.. known as the old Greenlawn cemetery. Legislation was enacted recently to assist the companies in obtaining this land. It will add about twelve acres to their present property, used for freight terminals. At a meeting in which plans were made to bring proceedings to condemn the land the Terre Haute, Indianapolis & Eastern Traction Company, the Union Traction Company, the Interstate Public Servicbe Company and the Indianapolis & Cincinnati Traction Company were represented. The Indianapolis Motor Bus Terminal Company is considering construction of a $60,000 terminal in Indianapolis. The company may remodel the present truck terminal at 50 Kentucky Ave. or may obtain a new site, it was said. The company is made up of operators of numerous lines.

For Freckled, Rough or Muddy Complexions
The freckling, discoloring or roughening to which delicate skins are subject after exposure to wind or sun, often appearing In early spring, may readily be gotten rid of. Mercolized wax, spread lightly over the face before retiring and removed in the morning with soap aud water, completely peels off the disfigured skin. Get an ounce of the wax at any druggist’s. There's no more effective way of banishing freckles or other cutaneous defects. Little skin particles come off each day, so the process doesn't even temporarily mar the complexion, and one soon acquires a brand new, spotless, girlishly beautiful face.—Advertisement. fp , lf k- |kn^i|B mJTM KEEPING WELL An N? ‘UNCLE’ JOE ‘TAKES ’EM’ IN TWO-BIT LIMIT GAME
By United Press DANVILLE, Ills., March 14. ‘‘Uncle Joe” Cannon, back after fortysix years in Congress, has been able to teach the home town boys a few tricks with the pasteboards. Cards and reading are the veteran Congressman’s hobbies. The old timers here are convinced that if “Uncle Joe" reads as well as he plays cards, he probably has gone through every book In Washington libraries. Immediately after his return from the Capitol, Cannon rounded up the six or seven remaining of the old Inner circle —“live wires all,” according to the Congressman—and revived the two-bit limit draw. Although Cannon carried his right arm across his chest as the result of a break a year ago, after a few sessions the old-timers are beginning to think It is more or less of a stall. “Gosh, how he took them,” remarked M. E. King, lifelong friend of “Uncle Joe," speaking of a brief meeting at the Elks Club, where the Congressman had been Induced to “sit in.” Cannon divides his time between the Second National Bank, of which Perfection Butter Makes Kiddles Grow.—Adv.
