TRICKERY CHARGED IN BILL’S DEFEAT 'SO-50' Measure Lost In Deceit, Say Women, “Trickery end deceit defeated the women's ‘fifty-fifty’ bill in the House of Representatives,” according to a bulletin issued today by headquarters of the Indiana League of Women Voters to branch leagues. It was signed by Mrs. Walter S. Grenough, president, and Mrs. Charles Arthur Carlisle, legislative chairman. The “fifty-fifty” bill allowed women equal representation on party committees.
