ORGANIZED LABOR • PUS BANK FOB INDIANA WORKERS Trust Company Here to Be Similar to Cleveland Institution, Plans for an Indiana labor bank or trust company to be owned by organized labor, were under way today. Harry E. Grube of South Bend, organizer, explained the plans to the Central Labor Union Monday night. The motto Is "Xn man is free as long es some other man holds his pocketbook.” The bank to be located in Indianapolis is to be capitalized at not more than f 1,000,000. The committee in charge includes E. E. James, Indianapolis; Adolph J. Fritz. Indianapolis; M. L. Ray, Peru, Ind.; Charles Kern. Indianapolis: E. C. Kidd, Hammond, Ind.; J. E. Wood, Indianapolis; John A. Riddle. Vincennes, Ind. Shares are to be sold at sllO each. At the least SO per cent must be held ly organized labor. The other 20 per cent may be held by farmers or |'ther producers. The proposed bank *:s modeled after a similar institution in Cleveland. Ohio, owned by the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers. A motion to withdraw the delegates of the Central Labor Union from the Non-Partisan League was introduced following a report of the delegates concurring in a recent statement issued by the league upholding Representative Swartz and Perkins for their .actions in voting for the Democratic amendment to the appropriation bill. The motion was lost. A resolution demanding that all comment on the action of the two representatives be withheld until the first meeting ; n March when they have been asked to explain their action, was passed. Harry Last, organizer of the Barber's International Union, spoke on the immigration question. RAID ON LOCKERBIE ST. William Dilley, 50, Held on Blind Tiger Charge. Following a raid at the home of William Dilley. 50. of 521 I/ickerhie St.. Dilley was under arrest today on charges of operating a blind tiger, and three others were charged with drunkenness. Eisenhut alleges he found a half pint of white mule and ten empty fcottles. Arrested on charges of blind tiger: William P. Lynn. 44. of 215 X. Capitol Ave.: John R. Leonard. 41, of 521 Lockerbie St.; Robert Ryan. -'2SI Martindale Ave., was charged ■vith drunkenness.

Trout was cleaning the office. A passerby thought he was a burglar and called police. BAREFOOT BURGLAR BUSY Thief Gets Purse Containing sl7 From House, A barefoot burglar entered the home of Mrs. Thomas A. Stoner, colored, 1665 Columbia Ave., at 6 a. m. today. Mrs. Stoner saw the man run (take-- a purse containing sl7. Sergeant Dean said the thief entered through a rear window. His footprints led from the window to an alley and for a distance of 100 yards down the alley to a point where he evidently had put on his shoes.
