PUBLIC WEST PARAMOUNT, SAYS INDUSTRIAL JUDGE Above and beyond all in the modem industrial controversy is the interest of the general public which depends on the business corporation and labor union for the necessaries of life produced by their joint efforts, said Judge William Huggins of Kansas in a speech on “The Old Government and the New Industry” at the nineteenth annual meeting of the Associated Employers of Indianapolis. Judge Huggins is author of the Kansas industrial act, and presides over the Kansas Court of Industrial Relations. Government and the right to freedom have been worked out by the Anglo-Saxon race through hundreds of years and much bloodshed, he said. In every other field except the industrial a public tribunal has been provided in which the controversy may be adjudicated impartially and according to the established principles of law.
