INSIDE STORY OF RADICAL PLOTS IS TO BE UNFOLDED Burns Agency Will Brand Baiiin’s Story as -. False, By United Press CHICAGO, Feb. 16.—The inside story of detective agency operations in connection with the investigation of radical plots was to be unfolded at the Michigan deposition hearings here today. Allen O. Meyers, assistant manager o fthe Burns International Detective Agency was expected to brand the story of Albert J. Bailin as the invention of a disgruntled employe discharged for writing fake reports. Cross-examination of Bailin who suffered a lapse of memory during the closing hours of the examination yesterday, was to lye completed today. Bailin excused his failure to remember his birthplace, his birthday and details regarding his arrival in the United States from Russia. He said he was worn out by his four days’ testimony on the witness stand. ARSENAL CLUB NOMINATES Nature Students to Elect Officers Next Week. The Nature Study Club of Arsenal Technical High School has announced these nominations: Sueanna Engle and Robert Webb, for president; Mildred Frey and Vernon Smith, vice president; Louise Ross and Stephen Hughes, secretary; Mary Goodwin, j treasurer. Edith Addison, O. K. McKitrick and Robert Webb will arrange a hike on I Washington’s birthday. Officers will > be elected next week. POLICE TRACE MURDER CAR: EXPECT ARRESTS .■Men Who Killed Unidentified Man by Torture Are Known. By United Press CHICAGO, Feb. 16.—Arrests in connection with the murder of a unidentified man whose mutilated body was found near here w'ere believed near today as police traced the murder car. The machine with three occupants was seen by a dozen persons near the spot where the body was found. Automobile Stolen Harry G. Schwab, stockyards, told police that his automobile was stolen Thursday night from its parking place at the stockyards.
