WOMAN SMOKED PIPE FOR 100 YEARS; DIES Missouri Centenarian Was Bom in 1813. Bo fnitrd Xnrx COLUMBIA, Mo., Feb. 8. —Smoking a pipe for the last hundred years cut short the life of Mrs. Sallie Shadrick at the hgc of 107. The aged pipe smoker died at her home near here Wednesday after a century of life- wreathed in yie smoke of Missouri natural leaf tobacco. She drew her first r'lomh full of smoke at the age of seven and never quit. Mrs. Shadrick was born July 13, 1815 and waft the mother of eleven children, five of whom survive her.
