CONDITION OF STATE HIGHWAY ‘BEST EVER’ Director of Road Commission Sajs Snow Was Aid. ' State highways are in thè best condition they have ever been in according to John D. Williams, director of thè State highway commission. The recent snow. when it melted. made thè roads respond well to dragging. The State road System includes about 150 miles of earth roads, with thè gre? ter part under construction or resurfacing. There are about 2,800 miles of types such as stone and gravel. With thè recent purché se of snow plows, thè department is prepared to keep all State roads open to traffic this winter, Williams said.

Moores, United States commissioner. Meyer said he had been passing thè “raised” pennies about a month. He said he got thè idea when one of thè bogus coins was passed on him.
