Louie Lavell, popuiar Anderson lightweight, is coming back for another performance at Tomlinson Hall New Year's afternoon. The flashy knuckle riuster who outpointed Jimmy Dalton in a recent thriller here today was matched to meet Jack Elliott. Culver blacksmith, on thè ali-star flsticuff program being arranged by thè Washington A. C. to start off thè new year. In a previous meeting between Lavell and Ellictt here thè Culver slugger won handily, much to thè surprise of Laveli's followers. The bout was staged at thè Empire Theater and Elliott gave thè boxing dope bucket a severe jolt.

Sinee that time Lavell has improved and his boosters have been clamoring for another scrap wio’n Elliott. The demands have been met and Indianapolis fans wlll see lots of gloves flying New Year's. The Lavell-Elliott set-to will be one of three feature attractions arranged by Promoter Harter. The others will bè K. O. Circus of Pittsburgh and Mickey O'Dowd of Mucie, ten rounds, and Bud Taylor of Terre Haute, Indiana bantam Champion, and Benny \'ogel of Milwaukee, ten rounds. Mickey O'Dowd has been winning in splendid fashion recentiy and thè Magic City is strong for him. He recently outpointed Blockie Richards in Dayton. He is a featherweight. He tvill have his hands full with Circus, however, because Circus has been fighting lightweights and has been going good.
