By Vnited Presa MUNCIE, Ind., Dee. 15.—Bianche Butts, 35, appeared in court today on trial for thè murder of her husband, Clement Butts who died of a gun shot wound tiro months ago. Dressed entirely in black in niouming for her husband, Mrs. Butts, once regarded as thè niost beautiful woman in Muncie, presented a striking figure. Oniy once since she shot her husband Oct. 9 has she broken down and that was when word reached her from thè hospital that he was dylng. The defense will tesify that thè shot fired by her througl a screen door was an accident and she did not know thè gun. which had been in possesssoin of thè family for years, was loaded. Butts had started to leave liome aster a family quarrel. Mrs. Butts declarea he had been drinking and when he retumed to re-enter thè house she was agraid he would attack her. Wilson, formerly an automobye dealer here and at Cambridge City, was arrested in Trenton, N. J., yesterday by Sheriff Cari Wadraan on a charge of defrauding Richmond banks out of $25,000. Wilson dlsappeared from his home at Cambridge City on Aprii 18, 1921, with his wife and daughter.
