The State Assoeiation of County j Auditors, in its annual meeting at thè ì Claypool Hotel, elected Harry M. I Gardner of Logansport. auditor of t'ass County, as presldent and James F. Dragoo of Muncie, auditor of Delaware County, as vice president. The principal matter taken up by thè auditors was that of forming a legislative policy, which included thè changing of a bill created by thè last generai assembly. This bill provides i rhat thè county council may appropriate money for extra allowances for salaries of thè clerical staffs of auditors, The proposed new bill would change thè predication so as to read "shall” instead of “may.” to guarantee appropriation of thè necessary funds.
