SEEK CAUSE DE PENNSY WRECK Officials Investigate Dejailment East of City, Piling up Cars. While wrecking crews were busy to>lay clearing thè wreckage of thè Pennsylvania passenger train No. 30, near Cumberland, Ind., railroad offi-i-ials were investigating to determine thè cause of thè accident. The wreck oecurred at about 6 p. m. yesterday In Marion Councj a quarter of a mlle west of thè Hancock County line. No one was seriously injured, but four of thè ten Pullman cars were thrown aerosa thè tracks. Pasaengers were hurled from their seats. Frank Doli, conductor, of Indianapolis, was bruised when he was thrown against thè wall of a vestibuie. Train Rnnninc Late The train. known as thè New Yorker. was due out of Indianapolis at 5:45 p. m. It was about eight minutes late. Railroad officials said there was a broken rail a quarter of a mile east of thè switch where thè wreck occurred and that thè train may have been switched off in ordcr to miss this stretch of main trac-k. The train was drawn by a “double-header.” The first engine "took thè switch” and broke loose from thè second engine. The second engine turned on its side across thè track. J. P. Moran of Cincinnati, Ohio, engineer in charge of thè first engine said thè speed of thè train was reduced as he had received slow orders. Wrecking traina from Richmond and Indianapolis were sent to thè scene. The track was cleared early today and traffic resumed. BUILDING PERMITS Beckman Millinery Company, garage, 1001 S. Delaware.
