The Second Presbyterian Church l will be thè scene of one of thè prettiest late fall weddings Wednesday evening, when Miss Helen Aigeo will beconie thè bride of Malcom Day. Dr. Jean S. Milner, iiustor, will perforili thè ceremony before an aitar banked with palras and ferns with tali standards of orchid and white chrysanthemums on either side, and lighted by cathedral tapers. Miss Barbara Peden. raaid of honor. will wear a gown of silver cloth and carry an arm bouquet of greenery and orchids. The bridesmaids. Miss Mvra Stimson, Miss Mary Brown. Miss Elizabeth Dill and Miss Ama Howard, will wear orchid and blue taffetà froeks inade colonial style and carry bouquet* of odiantium and farleyanse. The little flower girl. Miss Betty Xewkirk. will wear a pink taffetà frock and carry a basket of pink roses. The bride will be gowned in white satin conibined with lace and fashioned with a court train. She will ••arry a colonial bouquet of orchids, lilies of thè volley and bride's roses and wear a tulle veil with a band of pearls and orange blossoms. Robert Pamell Aigeo will l>e thè aTOom’s attendant. Paul Burris. Earl Perkins. Louis Hecknian and Kenneth Proctor will be ushers. Following a reception at thè bride's homo on Marlowe Ave., Mr. and Mrs. Day will leave for a visit in Chicago, aster which they will make their horne in Indianapolis. a Thanksgiving party and buffet luncheon this afternoon. The favor* were candy-fìllled turkeys. Baskets of chrysanthemums and fall foliage were used in decorations. Following thè luncheon Miss Helen Goodpasteur, aceompanied by Mrs. Herbert William Gibbs, sang “My Little House.” by Penn. and “The Street Song,” from “Puccini Owl,” by Penn. Mrs. J. B. Davey gave several Thanksgiving readings. * * The (Caroline Scott Harrison chapter of thè D. A. R. gave a bridge party at thè Woman's Department Ciuf this afternoon for thè benefit of The chapter house fund. Players filled one hundrd tables. Mrs. Edward Ferger was chairman of thè conimittee in eharge. Ainong thè out-of-town guests were Miss Elizabeth Pope of Chicago, and visiting members from thè Danville chapter of tìie D. A. R. * * The members of Myrtle Xo. 7, Pythiap Sisters, gave a surprise party last night at thè ladge hall in E. Ohio St.. in honor of Mrs. Julia Orane, who is eelebrnting her thirtythird year in thè chapter and who will leave soon for California to make ber home. Covers for dinner were laid for one hundred. The table was decorated in white. red. yellow and blue, thè colors of thè order. Mrs. Xellle K. Stammel presented Mrs. Crune with .a purse. Clubs & Meetings Lincoln Lodge.
