What Coach Cash’s eleven lacks in weight it makes up in speed. The line charges fast, they block well and follow thè ball. The backfleld is speedy headed by thè fast Stamates. They tackle hard and run good lnterference. Stamates, quarter back, has played four years and thinks and acts- football all thè time. He welghs only one hundred and thirty-flve pounds and stands Ave feet two. He is a tripio threat man and does all well. He is a remarkable open field ranner and goes wild on end runs. Having scored twenty-one touch downs this year from running plays going all thè way from ten yards to thè full length of thè field a couple of tlmes. He passes accurately and gets them off quioklv. He punta high spirala and averages about thirty-flve yards on long kicks. He chooses his plays well and runs his team in thè best of fashion. By United Press PHILADELPHIA, Nov. 24.—Philadelphia, called thè “sleepy place” in vaudeville jokes, was enjoying all thè thrills and excitement today of “Main St.” on circus day. It has been years slnce Philadelphia had an Army-Navy game and thè city was acting as though it never before had provided thè battle ground for thè annual fracas between thè cadets of West Point and tìje midshipmen from Annapolis.
