CAMME IH TGOAY FOR FEATUfIE CASSE Indicatiqns Are Irvvin Field Will Acccmmodate About Ha!f of Crowd. CONTEST A THRILLER Both Teams Will Enter Fracas With Elevens Aimost intact —Starts at 2 P. M. Magic words —Notre Dame is Corning to town. There's a thrill In that e tate me nt for thè football enthuslaats. Knute Ilockne brings his Irish to Indianapolis thia afternoon to tackle Butler at Irwin field Saturday at 2 p. m. The baule haa aroused unusuai Interest here and there is not ne&rly enough room to accommodate all thè fans that want to see thè contest. Notre Dame was scheduled to get in at 3 p. m. today, and will probably take a short work-out at Washington Park. The Claypool Hotel will be their headquarters. Butler rounded out a heavy week o t work Thursday with a scrimmage between thè scrubs and varslty. Everything is in readiness at thè Irvlngton lnstitution. Piacards hearing thè inacnption, “Beat Notre Dame” are mucb In evidence. The studente think that thè Pagemen have an opportunlty to upset thè dope and win from thè mighty South Ber.d outfit. A pep meeting was on thè program at Irwin field thi moming at 11:30. Notre Dame added another cripple to lt* Ust In thè last scrimmage, when Heagen. center, was kicked in thè leg so severaly that he probably will not get into thè line-up Satui-ùay. It may givo Harmon, thè Indianapolis boy, a chance to get into thè fray. Comic Football Between halves, Rockne’s version of feow football will be played in 15-43 will be put on between thè Cake Eaters and Tea Hounds. It is a burlesque of thè grid game and ls reported to be a scream from start to finish. Everything that tends to make a footoail game interesting is combined In thè coming struggle. In thè first place thè State title is thè plum for thè vlctor. Neither team has been defeated and neither wants to be. The thrills of sensational open play along with thè battering smashes of plunging backs will, without doubt, be part of thè program. Coaches Page and Rockne wilT match their football wlts. Grid lominaries furr.ish thè thrills of a “large” football afternoon. The probable line-up of Butler will be as follows: LesUe and Konald, ends: Phil Brown and Stroie, tackles; Duttenhaver and F. Hungate, guards; Helchel, center: Mìdòlesworth, quarter; Woods and Griggs, half backs: Ferree, full back. Rockne will pick his team about Ulte thls; Carberry. McXulty and Vergerà. ends; Cotton and Oberai, tackles; Flinn and Degree, guards; Reagen, center; Thomas or Stuhldrefaer, quarter; Layden, Connell, Don Miller and Crowley. half backs; Cerney and Castner, full backs. The officiala are as follows: Referee. Magidson (Michigan): umplre, Coflln (Cornell); head linesman. Lambert (Wabasb): field judge, Millen (Indiana).

Playing thè Field With Eddie Ash THE best some grid teams can do is try new plays. Ultimate resulta are thè same, however. CUE spellbinders continue to run neck and neck.
