Hundreds of farmers over thè three States are determined to snatch from thè brow of J. E. Workman of Maxwell, 111., thè crown of “corn king,” which he won last year, along with a part of thè SIO,OOO premium list offered by thè Chicago Board of Trade, according to Mr. Fitch, who has oeen travellng over these States. FALLS DOWN STAIRS AFTER SHOOTING WIFE; DIES By Time Special GOSHEN, Ind., Nov. 16.—Louis L. Witt, 70, who fell down a stairway aster shooting his wife, Wanda Tetzlaff Witt, and his stepdaughter, Elizabeth Tetzlaff, 14, at their home yesterday, died last night at a Goshen hospital. The wife died early this morning. The daughter is In a criticai condition. Witt recently accused his wife of digging up his savings and giving them to her brother.
