The doors of thè show opened at 7 p. m. yesterday. An lmmerfse crowd thronged thè floor. The Closed Car show is a proof of thè development of thè automcbile in America. Closed cara to fit almost any purso are to be seen—from thè Ford coupé, at J 579, to thè McFarlan sport sedan, selling at more than $3.000. One cnthusiastic Ford salesman stated ihat thè Ford coupé is selline at 25 cents a pound. Practically all dealers reported substantial reductions in thè prices of their care. One of thè most elegant care shown is thè McFarlan sport sedan. All dealers report excellent progress in sales. Closed types are gaining popularitv rnpidly, thev say. The Tabernacle Is deeorated with gold and black bunting. Music will be provided throughout thè show. Mrs. William 43. Duthie. organist, plaved popular southern melodies.
