By United Prete DRUMRIGHT, Okla., Nov. 6. Work of cleaning up wreckage and caring for thè scores of persons homeless as a result ot thè cyclone between here and Shamrock Saturday was under way today. Delaware St., interrupted a burglar who was robbing thè Elder home. Miss Miller was in thè nursery on thè second fioor of thè liouse. She heard a noise and went down stairs to investigate. A man ran out of thè house. He dropped a napkin containing fifty pieces of silverware. NEGRO ROBS APARTMENT Mrs. Bell Hill, Apartment D, 704 N. Capitol Ave., went home at 11 o’clock last night and was sitting in a chair waiting for her son to return, when she heard thè door of thè closet move. Tuming, she saw thè door swing open and a colored man step into thè room. “Keep quiet or I will blow your head off,” thè man threatened. Mrs. Hill fainted. She told thè police that when she regained consciousness thè negro had disappeared with 535 hidden in thè drawer of thè dresser. FORD BUYS MINE Bjj United Press BLUEFIELD, W. Va., Nov. 6 Henry Ford has purchased thè mine of thè Dex-Car Pocahontas Goal Company in thè Tug River field of McDowell County. The prive was not revelaed.
