Mr. Hubbard was recently offlclally retir ed before 400 of his fellow workman by thè Pennsylvania Railroad aster forty-nine years In railroad work and twenty-nine years with thè Pennsylvania System. - Mr. Hubbard has always been actlve In politica, servine two terms In thè House of Hepresentatlves in 1897 and 1605. He has heJd several Important offices with thè Pennsylvania, servine on their Board of Safety for many years. Mr. Hubbard was instrumentai in organlzir.g thè Pennsylvania Grays, thè baseball team larsrely responsible for thè growth of athletics along thè Pennsylvania System. At thè farewell meeting he was presented with a permanent pass to all athletlc conte sts given by thè Pennsylvania Athletlc Association and a llfe membership in that organization.
