Pink, white and yellow absentee voters’ ballots wiil leave Indianapolis Monday, for all points of thè compass Several hundred citlzens of thè city in all parts of thè United States and one in Canada have requested thè county clerk to send them. The pink ones contain thè naraes of State candidates, thè white thè county and thè yellow slips thè township aspirants’ names. Five thousand of each kind will be printed, as 3.300 absentee voters took part in thè 1920 election. The ballots cannot be sent out until flfteen days before each election and thè time limit for obtaining them is set at two days before election. Oct. 23 and Nov. 4 are thè limiting dates this year. They may be retumed to thè county clerk until 9 p. m. election day. Government employes In Washington, D. C.. head thè list numerically. Old soldiers in military homes at Dayton, Ohio, and Marion, Ind., form a large group. Health seekers in Florida and thè West ulso run atrong. Travehng salcsmen have asked for rnany ballots. Many residents in thè city conflned to their homes will use thè ballots thè record shows. Soldiers also want to vote, as is rahown by requests from Army ofll:ers from Camp Bennlng, Georgia, and Washington, D. C. The Navq contains one Indianapolis voter, at least, for a request for a ballot is on file from a gob on thè U. S. S. Shawmut of thè Atlantic fleet.
