HOPEOFBECDRD VOTE m FKS Lack of Interest Blamed for Prediction of Light Registration. Politicians who publicly talked of a big registration in Indiana tomorrow privately expressed the opinion today the number of voters responding may be light. Lack of interest was blamed in bear predictions. County Auditor Leo K. Fesler will give final Instructions to registration boards at the courthouse at 7:30 o’clock this evening. Registration places will be open from 8 a. m. to 9 p. m. Citizens mayregister in person or send applications. Application must be signed by two voters of the precinct, or sworn to before a notary. Those who are not 21, but win be before Nov. 7, and aliens who will be naturalized by that time, may register. Another registration day will be Oct. 9. THEFTS REPORTED IT HUM Money, Jewelry, Hog Brushes and Prize Ribbons in List of Articles. Thefts reported to the police today, which occured at the State fairground included everything from money and Jewelry to hog brushes and prize ribbons. Mrs. Earl "Williams, 515 E. St. Clair St., said a hand bag was stolen from a stand. The bag contained a watch worth S6O. Pickpockets took a purse containing sl3 from the pocket of James Boatman, of West Terre Haute. Elmsr O. Deal, 1316 E. Twentysecond St., was robbed of sl6 by a pickpocket. A thief took the coils from the automobile of Rev. H. S. Morrell, j 9 N. Gray St. A red leather traveling ba was taken from Noble Truex, rurra route No. 2. The bag contained forty prize ribbons and six brushes, used for cleaning hogs.
