THREE HOOSIER GOAL CONCERNS IN BIGMERGER Brazil, Vincennes and Local / Companies Consolidate With $10,000,000 Capital. The merger of three of the largest coed mining companies In Indiana — the American Coal Mining Company of Brazil, the Indian Creek Coal and Mining Company of Indianapolis and the Oliphant Coal Company of Vincennes. Into the Knox Consolidated Coal Company, has been announced by H. A. Glover, local sales representative. E. D. Lodgsdon of Indianapolis, former president of the Indian Creek Company, Is president of the new company which will issue 15,000,000 common stock and bonds in the same amount. It is stated the production of the new company will be about 320 high cars daily, or about 16,000 tons. Approximately 4.000 men will be employed in normal times with an annual payroll estimated at *6,000,000.
