SPRINGFIELD, HL, July 6. —Barring a rehearing and a reversing of opinion, William Bross Lloyd, millionaire Chicagoan, and his eighteen communist followers, must serve the terms allotted them by the Cook County Criminal Court for conspiracy to overthrow the Government. The Supreme Court upheld the lower court’s decision. Lloyd was sentenced to from one to five years in the penitentiary at Joliet and to pay a $2,000 fine. The others, a year ago, were given prison sentences varying from one year to one to five years, some with, others w.thout, SI,OOO fines. Lloyd Is a son of the late Henry D. Uoyd, newspaper man, who married a daughter of ex-Govemor Eross. Mr. {lross was part owner of a large Chi- j • ago morning newspaper.
