DECATUR WILL FEED FOLKS ON SPECIAL TRAIN Plan Picnic for People From Indianapolis on Tour of Inspection. Decatur (111.) citizens are providing a picnic dinner In one of the parks for Indianapolis people who go on Mayor Shank's special train to see Decatur's new municipal lake Sunday. A moderate charge will be made. Two hundred members of a committee on arrangements for the trip were appointed by 'William T. Dailey, chairman. Michigan Resort Bars Booze Hounds IRON MOUNTAIN, Mich., June 16Spread Eagle, seven miles from here, is to be America's most externplary summer resort this year if the plans of William Dennis, owner of Spread Eagle pavilion, materialize. He says there's been altogether too much drinking and loose conduct on the island and he's fed up on it. Dennis has compiled a group of Interesting rules which the resorters will have to comply with. General Delivery Is No Matrimonial Bureau Postmaster Bryson Says Cupid Has No Try sting Rights Either .

The old-fashioned Cupid, or his more up to date successor, is going to meet with a cool reception if he tries to get a job at the general delivery window of the Indianapolis postoffice, according to Robert H. Bryson, postmaster. For though Mr. Bryson does not disapprove of the tender sentiment that usually breaks out, like mumps or measles at this season of the year, he Is very much opposed to the use of the general delivery window as Cupid's postoffice, and intends to start a campaign that may make it very embarrasing for any save those who have legitimate reasons for so doing, to get their mail at the postoffice, instead of having it delivered to their homes. ■•l'm going to put a stop to the ever increasing practice of young girls coming in here for letters which they don't want their parents to know they are receiving,” Mr. Bryson declared. “Os course some of the girls who come in here may have a real reason for not having their mall sect home, but if they have, they will have to tell us ail about it.
