BIG PAYMENT ON DEBTS OF MARION COUNTY j Auditor Has Plans to Pay Sum of $361,7G6 on Various Obligations. The largest monthly payment of the year. on the bonded debt of Marlon j County, tvIII be made In the period be- j tween May 15 and June 10, it was au- ! bounced today by Leo K. Fesler. During 1 this time, $-161,766 will be disbursed on j the debt anil the township three-mile road bonds. Another record payment i win be made in November, Mr. Feslerj said. The largest expenditure will be for j real bonds. The principal and interest on road bonds In the township amounted I to $-"*1,762 and county unit road bonds to $15,450. Interest on the balance due on the balance due on the courthouse will be p aid. This amounts to $11,032 and Is j Interest for the first six months of 1922. j Expenditures of $24,514 were made for ' the tubercular hospital at Sunnyside 1 an l for numerous other county bonds. The total bond and indebtedness of the county is at present $6,123,000. At the beginning of this year it was 54.165.000. Woman Held for Death of Husband TTXSA, Okls., May 26.—Mrs. M. A. Jergeson. mother of two children, is held here today charged with the murder of her husband, prominent local physician. Dr. Jergeson was shot and killed In his home while a 15-year-old looked on. The shooting is believed to have ben the culmination of a quarrel. "I don't know why I did it," was Mrs. Jergeson's only comment to the police. ARM AGAINST PIRATES. PEKtN, May 26. —Unable to obtain government protection against pirates, several Chinese shipping companies have armed their crews aud hired soldiers as guards.
