Two Walker Favorites to Appear in Important Play by Owen Davis
Next %ek will b Judith Lowry and Aldrich Bowker week at the Murat theater as Stuart Walker baa given these two capable players their most important rolea since they have been with the eompany. Mr. Walker has cast Miss Lowry as the farmer's wife, who bnried her batter and egg money In a ginger jar so the little fortune could be nsed in educating her daughter to be a great artist. Mr. Bowker will be cast as the husband who believes he owns everything on the farm, and who, on finding the butter and egg money, Invests it in farm land. Aa the wife who toils year after year on the farm, and who savea a little money here ard there, so her dreams of making a great lady out of her daughter, Miss Lowry has a great opportunity. The discover/ of the money between Helei Hardy and her farmer husband, Stephen Hardy, is one of the big spots of the play. Kate Hardy is the daughter. (By war of answer, he throws the srtlflclal flowers contemptuously aside, snd, turning the jug up. he pours the contents out on the table.) STEVE. (Aa he sees.) By God! HELEN.
