Beck, Democratic nominee for county coroner, last night at his home. 1652 Talbott avenue, after a sudden attack of acute indigestion which caused complication of the heart, the Democratic county committee is faced with the question ot choosing a nominee to enter in the fall election. Harry Mackey, the candidate who received the second highest number of votes, may be selected by the county committee, to which this duty falls, as Beck’s successor. Russell J. Ryan, Democratic county chairman, salrt action in choosing a candidate would be taken at the next meeting of the committee. Mr. Beck was bom April 24. 1575. in Ft. Wayne. He came to Indianapolis while a small boy and was educated in the public and parochial schools. He entered the undertaking business in ISft3 and five years later opened an establishment of his own. He Is survived by Mrs. Anna Beck, the widow; two children, William O. Jr., 10. and Joseph. 9. and three brothers, Anthony, Frank and Schubert Beck, all of Indianapolis. SCREAMS SCARE PROWLER.
