STUDENTPARTY TO STUDY IN STATE PARKS Geology and Mining Classes Coming From Lehigh University. Indiana's natural resources of cosl, building stone, oil shales, mineral waters and the like, together with scenic and historical spots and State parks are the lure attracting a party of students front Lehigh University, Pennsylvania, here for several days this summer, according to announcement today by Klchard Lieber, director of conservation. Faculty members of Lehigh hare written Mr. Lieber and Dr. W. N. Logan, State geologist, that of geology and mining engineering students, will motor through the State some time early In June. The men requested State conservation officials to route the students to the chief points of Interest. "The natural resources of Indiana, and the methods for conservation and utilisation in force prove to us that Indiana is making great headway along this line and we are anxious to observe your methods and study at close range and In detail what your State possesses,” the letter said. The party will travel in motor cars, carry equipment for roadside camping ami live most of the time in the open. Conservation officials will direct the students to the four State parks to show them how Indiana cares for tourists, and also to various Indiana cities where they will see how natural resources are proving the basic wealth of the commonwealth. Thief Returns Buggy After Hauling Loot DALTON, Ga„ May 12—" Thankful for small favors," is the feeling of E. W. Babb, Mill Creek Valley farmer, after coming out second-best with a nervy thief. Although he lost a large amount of provisions, Babb retains his horse and buggy, which the thief returned after using it to cart away its owner's property. Shortly after Bupper recently Babb heard a buggy pass the honse, but paid no atttention to it, he says, thinking it a neighbor. Later he discovered that it was his own horse and buggy, which a thief had borrowed to convey his meat and sorghum, which had been stolen. After using it for that purpose the thief returned the horse and hnrnesg to the barn and left the buggy a short distance down the road.
