All contracts will be complete this year, when the National r<ad will hare been paved across the State from Terre Haute to Cambridge City. On the section known ns from Louisville, Henry County, to the west line of Wayne County, a distance of seven miles, George T. Miller, of Lebanon, contractor, has started laying concrete. Tavement laying will be started soon by C. M. Kirkratrick of Greenfield, contractor for the project between Greenfield and Knigbtstnwn, a distance of twelve miles in Hancock and Henry Counties. .Tiisf west of Plainfield to the west line of Marion County, the contractor is now building bridges under twenty-foot span preparatory to pavement laying. Th° same activity Is In evidence on eighteen bridges contracted by the commission on April 4, the largest of which Is the 1 SOO foot bridge to span White river at Hazeiton. where the water course divides Knox and Gibson counties.
