Members r.f subcommittees of the mayor's citizens' committee investtpratiiiß the financial problem of the Indianapolis Street Railway foinpany were disagreed today upon recommendations to be made to the peneral body. The subcommittees, of which there are two, were to have reported last night. The disagreement resulted in a twohour argument, behind closed doors, and announcement to the (general romniiitie, which waited outside until nearly 10 o’clock, that the reports will be delivered next Wednesday night. One committee has made an audit ot the street car company's boots. The other has made a survey of traction conditions in other cities of the class of Indianapolis. Part of the committee, which has been investigating the bo-.ks, desired to reeommend that the company be relieved of the cost of paving between tracks, and the rest are opposed to such recommendation. The Jitney bus Question, also, is said to have been a stumbling block in the way of a report. Robert I. Todd, president and general manager and Pr. Henry Jameson, chairman of the executive committee of the reaction company, were among those who waited for the sub-committee reports.
