K., CLAIM Senator Willis Refers to Charges in Morse Case. WASHINGTON, May 5. —Tbe names of former President William Howard Taft and former Attorney General George W. Wlckersbam, were today drawn in the Senate “row" over the granting of a pardon to Charles W. Morse, New Tori banker. In 1912. Senator Willis, Republican, Ohio, said Taft and Wickersham absolved Attorney General Daugherty of charges made by Senator Caraway, Democrat, Arkansas, that Daugherty “influenced” the Taft Administration to grant Morse's pardon. Letters from both Taft and Wickersham were read into the record by Willis.

Va., May 15 “The battle of Blair Mountain between union coal miners and mine guards ami deputies was the beginning of an industrial revolution which might last for years,” Dr. L. P. Millikan, Philadelphia, today testified he was told by a member of the miners’ army. Milliken appeared as a witness for the prosecution in the treason trials here. Three miners were killed and three wounded in the Biair battle Milliken who was on the scene stated.
