Mission has never before used for a national purpose of the sort. Berlin dispatches recording the simple life once-pround William of Hohenzollern Is now leading in Holland recall tho stories told to friends at the time of the armament conference by Jonkheer Van Karnebeek, the Netherlands foreign minister. ‘‘William has behaved like a gentleman on our soil/’ said the Dutch statesman, "and we adopted the rule that as long as he so comported himself, Holland would treat him like a gentleman.” The Dutch authorities, it was added, are punctiliously insistent that the former Kaiser shall not In the slightest direction infringe the rights of political asylum granted him. They have on no occasion detected either Inclination or attempt to do so. William seems to realize, Jonkheer Van Karnebeek explained, that his comfort and well-being on Dutch soil depend upon immaculately good conduct.—Copyright, 1922, by Public Ledger Company.
