brings out the true dispositions of both. Patricia' Vane, played by Lonise Huff, is the girl. She was quite respectable, but belonged to tbe society flapper type that neither weaves nor spins. It is what Patricia Is after she meets John, that counts, and therein the picture reveals a story of unusual charm and conviction, with the waves of the sea and the pines of Maine as a background. There is something sentimental and real about the conclusion that brings a throb to the breast, even as the sight of a butterfly
with a broken wing trying to reach the light.
