TAGGART WILL GIVE EDITORS BANQUET TALK Wife of Former Governor Ralston to Entertain Democratic Women. Thomas Tagjrart has been added to the list of speakers at the annual banquet of the Democratic State Editorial Association at the Claypool hotel, the night of Feb. 16, Miss Gertrude McHugh, secretary of the Democratic State Commltee, announced today. The other speakers ■will be Cordell Hull, Democratic national chairman; Cla'ude G. Bowers, a Fort Wayne editor: Mrs. Grace Julian Clarke of Indianapolis, and Mrs. Bessie Lauensteln, vice chairman of the women’s Democratic State committee. WIFE REPORTS SPOUSE GONE Apparently discouraged by the illness of his wife and his inability to obtain work, Edward Swanner, 116 North State street, left home Wednesday morning and has not been beard from since, according to his wife, who reported the case to the police department yesterday. Swanner, who is a painting contractor by trade, has .been out of work for several months, his wife told the police, and during that time she herself has been in ill health. She described him as being 36 years old, 5 feet 6 Inches in height, weight about 140 pounds. He has dark hair. When he left home he was wearing old clothes and had no overcoat.
