UiSt.
The arrest of “James \V. Hathaway" iu Iloston on a larceny charge reveals a strange story of a double lif—. “Hathaway” is Kthel M. Kimball, who for two years has been masquerading as a man. On Nov. 2.'{ she married Miss Louise Aechtler of Somerville, Mass. They have since lived as man an 1 wife in a lodging house, the “wife" never learning her “husband” was a. woman. "Hathaway" was arrested on an alleged attempt to commit larceny. "He" resisted, and, when an officer was about to nse force, exclaimed, “would you strike a woman?” “James” is shown on the left of the picture, with a police inspector.
