Gallagher helped the big Lamb count by hitting the pins for 220 in the “large” effort of the night. Rice of the Hogs got himself 211 maples in his last chance.

McNamara and Mcßeath Win 24-Hour Bike Race
NEW YORK, Nov. 18.—Reggie McNamara and Alex Mcßeath won first place in the twenty-four-hour bicycle race which ended last night in a wild series of sprints In Madison Square Garden. Lawrence and Thomas finished second and Grenda and Clerk, third. The winning team covered 466 miles six laps and scored 657 points. Lawrence and Thomas lapped the field twice In the last hur and ran even with the winners, but ifrere placed second with 288 points. Clark and Grenda were a lap behind, with 287 points, and Lang and Lands were fourth, also a lap behind, with 56 points.
Hoosier Towns Expected to Join Three-I Loop
CHICAGO, Nov. 18.—South Bend and Ft. Wayne, Ind., It Js expected, will replace Cedar Rapids and Rock Island In the Three-I Baseball League next year. Cedar Rapids and Rock Island dropped out of the league at the annual meeting here yesterday. A1 Tierney, president of the league, will visit South Bend and Ft. Wayne in the near future to discuss with baseball men In those cities the matter of transferring the two franchises. An application for a franchise from Clifford R. Trimble, Aurora, has been received by the league but no action has been takep upon it. Attendance figures submitted by President Tiekney show that 380,468 persons saw the teams play last season. Terre Haute, with 75,315, had the largest attendance.
