Here It is In part; “Steam coal for land users, including tonnage consigned to New Orleans by two railroads leading west, prior to about three years ago, approximated 1.000,000 tons annually. This was reduced rapidly until about eighteen months ago, when about 745 per cent, or 750,000 tons of coal had been replaced by oil as fuel. "Steam coal for steamship backsrs.
