A. tank team defeated the Yale team, eastern Intercollegiate champion, 81 to It’, in a dual meet in the Cherry Circle pool. The C. A. A. relay team, composed of Topp, Elliott, Leach, and Mallen, clipped 14-5 seconds off of the old world mark held by the Illinois A. C. team. The Yale team is en tour to Hawaii to compete in several exhibition meets. Lorin Thurston, captain of the team, Is a native Hawaiian. Two Chicago boys, R. H. Meagher and A. Ferguson, are members of the squad. The. team Is booked for meets In Milwaukee, Minneapolis, and San Francisco before sailing for the Islands.
