The twelfth annnal meeting of gronp four of the Indiana Bankers’ Association will be held in the college gymnasium In this city, Thursday evening. May 26, and will Include an auto trip over the city and to the Indiana Masonic Home. The chairman of the group Is J. W. Trittlpo, assistant cashier of the Fortvllle State Bank. Fortvllle. and the secretary Is E. C. Miller, president of the Franklin National Bank, of this city. The first feature of the program will be the automobile trip over the city and to the Indiana Masonic Home, from 4:30 to 5:30 p. m., and will be followed by registration In the library of Franklin Ccllege, and then dinner In the coliege gymnasium. Following is the program: Meeting called to order by the chairman, Mr. Trlttipo; music by the Franklin College Quartette; reading of minutes of the last meeting by the group secretary, Mr. Miller; appointment of a nominating committee; music by the Edinburg Quartette; address of welcome by D. LAFAYETTE, Ind., May 13.—The annual meeting of group five of the Indiana Bankers’ Association will be held at the Lafayette Country Club Tuesday, May 24. Delegates and guests will register at the First-Merchants National Bank, where automobiles will be waiting to take them to the Country Club. Luncheon will be served at the Country Club. The chairman of group five is Ralph Smith, cashier of the American National Bank. Frankfort, and the secretary is Jay V. Carpenter, assistant secretary of the Brazil Trust Company, Brazil.

Shelby Elks Plan New $50,000 Home Special to The Times. SHELBYVILLE. Ind.. May 13.—The firm of Kopf & Moiling, architects, of Indianapolis, has been engaged by B. F. O. Elks, No. 437, of this city, to draw plans and figures on the proposition of a new Elks' Club building here, which will be erected at a cost of more than $50,000 Th<i proposed building has been under consideration for several years and was dropped on account of market conditions during the last few years. Malcolm Gets SIOO jfine, 30 Days on Farm Stewart Malcolm, 28, 047 North Meridian street, pleaded guilty to charges of operating a blind tiger and was fined 1100 and costs and sentenced to serve thirty days on the Indiana State Farm by Judge Walter Pritchard in city court late yesterday. Malcolm was arrested Wednesday by Lieut. Fred Winkler and Federal officers in his home. The officers said they found more than 200 bottles of homemade beer there.
