LAUDS VALUE OF AD CONVENTION Hoosier Advertisers Going to Atlanta. “We need to have information as to the number of business men aud women from Indianapolis who plan to attend the Advertising Convention in Atlanta, Jane 12 to 16,” said a bulletin to Tracy Kills, On-To-Atlanta chairman of the Advertising Club of Indianapolis. The reason for bolding tae annual advertising conventions in various parts of the country, Mr. Ellis has been Informed, is to make it easy for the business men, first of one section and then of another, to attend, and thereby to make their advertising more effective. “Any alert businessman who will come to one of these meetings with a note book and pencil and will attend the sessions, view the exhibits and mix with alert men from all parts of the country, ■will return home with enough ideas to brighten up bis business aud to increase his profits for mouths to come,” says a statement from the Associated Advertising Clubs. “Nor is this assertion

merely our opinion. It Is based upon the experience of thousands of business men who have attended previous conventions.” “At these meetings, all the cards are on the table. There are no secrets. The discussions are frank. Business men may ask questions, and it i3 always a characteristic of the most alert business men that they do ask questions.” A special rate of a fare and a half for the round trip to Atlanta has been granted by the railroads for the benefit of those who attend the convention. Identification certificates are required in order to secure this Tate, and these may be obtained npon application to club headquarters, fifth floor, Chamber of Commerce building.
