COLUMBUS, Ind., April I.—Ernest L. Lambert, 40. postmaster of Hope, Is dead at the Bartholomew County Hospital here of heart trouble, of which he had been 111 only a few days. Mr. Lambert had undergone an operation at the hospital and was recovering when heart trouble developed. Mr. Lambert was a life-long resident of the county, being born near Hope. After graduating from Indiana University, he taught school in the county for a number of years. He was engaged ln the grocery business at Hope when appointed postmaster by President Wilson last July. Funeral services will be held tomorrow afternoon at 2 o'clock at the Hope Methodist Church and burial will be ln the Moravian Cemetery.
