RICHMOND, Ind., March 30.—Habea* corpus proceedings for the release of Alphus Forsyth, who Is held in the Wayne county Jail pending tte analysis of the stomach of his wife, Mrs. Ida Forsyth, who died March 12, will bo started by counsel for Forsyth Thursday if stronger evidence is not produced by county officials, attorneys said today. i _ Frank Strayer, Forsyth’s attorney, who was In conference with the prisoner, said his client was not guilty of poisoning his wife, as charged. He said that the only reason he" had for allowing him to remain iD jail this long was the fact that an analysis was usually made within a few days. Officials at the Jail say Forsyth is in good spirits. He said be had no fear of the outcome of the investigation which is being mad#U)oth here and at Indianapolis. Forsyth was arrested Saturday evening, March 19, when officials learned thas he was about to leave town. An autopsy on the body of the deceased woipan was held at Union City, March 22. Conditions existing in the body at that time were such as to lead officials to continue the investigation by sending several parts of the body to Indianapolis for examination. Definite action toward securing release of Forsyth will be deferred until tomorrow, pending a report. Lueken Pays Fine on Liquor Charge Special to The Times. GRFENSBIRG, Ind., March 30. George H.
