Buslnes* and professional men and women 6t Indiana, who have been Impressed with, the practicability of the Salvation Army's county advisory board plan, are coming to Indianapolis. 3'*o strdnjr. from all parta of the State Thursday, March 31. They will be delegates from their county advisory boards to the Statewide convention of those boards, which will be held on that day In the Hotel Seyerln in this city. Secretary of State Ed Jackson, president of the State advisory bbard, which leads the ninetytwo county advisory boards, will preside during the day’s session. The convention will disclose for the first time the extent of one of the most comprehensive social surveys ever made In Indiana or elsewhere. .These surveys have been made In a confidential manner by each count/ advisory board. The results will be discussed at the State meeting and a defin--I*. working plan evolved for meeting the needs. iirDGE lIAY TALKS AT SCHOOL. In an address before the students of the Benjamin Harrison Law School last night. Judge Linn B. Hay, Superior Court, room 2. declared that honesty, fairness and gentlemanly manners are the three greatest assets that a lawyer can have. He said that upon a foundation bullded of these three elements, a lawyer builds a career that either crumbles or stands, depending upon the proportion used of those elements.

It is said that he will present a number of big illusions. The remainder of the bill includes Thomas and Rose, in songs and dances; .Fiddler and Ferry, comedians; Lu pe' Brothers, equilibrists; AVeston and Green, in a bit of everything, and the usual movie comedies. -I- -!- AT TnE RIALTO. The Mast Kiddies will be the headline offering at the Rialto next week. This act is put on by Juveniles, who sing and dance. Knox and Inman Is another act of headline quality which will tie on the bill. Other acts will make up the vaudeville bill. Frank Mayo will appear in a romance called “The Uitchlu’ Post," a movie.

addition four other feature acts are offered with Berry and Nickerson In th'dr blackface minstrel hit, “The Nicest Girl in Town,” as an added attraction. Other offerings on the bill are Howard and Lewis with a comedy skit, “Do You Like Me;” Martin and Courtney, travesty artists. The film feature Is also a headline attraction on this week's bill and presents Dustin Farnum, star of “The Virginian,” and many other plays, in hts first Metro screen play, “Big Happiness.” It Is the first picture that Mr. Farnum has mude for several months. In “Big Happiness” ha plays a dual role, that of twin brothers, who are alike in looks but are different in personality. When one of them agrees to substitute for his married brother only to find that ha is becoming infatuated with his sis-ter-in-law, the plot complications run to an unusual finale.

Elder, collector internal revenue, Is wearing the smile that won’t come off today, and all because the late returns from his department show that the amount of money collected for Income taxes to date Is far greater than even the most optimistic “dopester” In the office had dared to figure. It had been estimated that the figures for 1920 would exceed this year's receipts by not less than one million dollars, and possibly another half million dollars more, but as a matter of fact, complete figures up to and Including March 23 show that $12,181,110.97 has been collected this year, as against $12,507,552.73 for a similar period of 1920, leaving a deficit of only $32(5,411.70 for this year.
