MANY ATTEND MASONS’ SOCIAL Several Hundred Couples Dance at Cathedral. On* of the moat largely attended social functions of the year for the Scottish Rite of Indianapolis was held last night at the Scottish Rite Cathedral. Several hundred couples were present. Dancing and other diversions, which included motion pictures, completed the program. Throughout the evening luncheon was served in the cathedral dining room. The affair last night marked the conclusion of a series of parties that have formed the social season of the Scottish Rite. It was the last party of the season for “grown-ups,” and the dancing was continued later than usual. Two May day parties, one for children, and one for yonng folks, will be held on Saturday, April 30. Arrangements for the parties of the Scottish Rite for the season have been under the direction of George M. Spiegel, thrice potent master of the lodge, and the Rite social committee. Aged Violin Maker Dies After Accident ■ Special to The Times. LA PORTE, Ind., March 25.—Edwin Waterhouse. 60, violin maker, died today following injuries received when a motor bus of the La Porte-Valparalso line ran over him late yesterday, as he was attempting to cross a street ahead of the baa.
