She is urged by that much worried lady Into becoming engaged to Rob Winslow, an attractive young man who is deeply In love with her. Marriage, however, holds no particular appeal to her. Instead, she Is bent upon getting as much fun out of the present as possible, ner chief occupation consists of calling numbers at random over the telephone and holding conversations with the masculine voices that answer. Her fiance discovers this and with the aid of several friends plans a “frame-up" to teach the youitg woman a lesson. When Clyde sees Miriam In the arms of Joe Simmons, a distant cousin, he leaves, broken-hearted, not knowing that Miriam's father had Just died and the relative was merely trying to assuage her grief. Clyde later marries another woman, but soon learns that his marriage was a mistake. Sue Sanitary Board to Prevent Trespass Suit for $20,000 damages and a petition for an Injunction to protect their property near the city garbage reduction plant from being used for a public purpose were filed yesterday before Judge Arthur R. Robinson in Superior Court, Room 4, against the city of Indianapolis and the board of sanitary commissioners by Jesse and Florence H. Alley. Lucius B. Swift and Frank C. Linkenfelter, members of the sanitary commission, and Charles Hurd, consulting engineer, were named as party defendants. The complaint says the sanitary commission threatens to use land belonging to the plaintiffs for “access and agress” to and from the garbage plant.
