BABY’S SMILE SUSPENDS CAREER Os Mollie King on the Movie Screen
It has been some time since picture fins have seen much of Mollie King, that vivacious little blond who was so very popular a few years ago. The reason is twcfold, being one Mr. Kenneth Alexander. Kentucky gentleman, sportsman and clubman, and incidentally Friend Husband, and the other being Kenneth Alexander, Jr., son and heir to the Alexander estates in Kentucky. Mollie King is considering returning to the screen, at least once a year anyhow,

and she has said that she may go on the stage again early next season. When asked about it Miss King, or rather Mrs. Alexander, said, a bit wistfully: “Well, Ken doesn't want me to go back. It isn't that he objects to the profession—but you know how southerners are —they want their women to 'sit pn a cushion and sew a fine seam.’ He says I don’t have to work—but that isn't the idea. I worked very hard to get my start and I love the stage, and, dearly as 1 love Ken, I don't want to give it up. 80, we are trying to compromise. I did Iwo pictures for American Cinema a Vmple of years ago and I've promised chem to do another. And I'm planning to go on the stage in a musical play early in the year. Then we will see how it works out. I think I can reconcile Ken to a careering wife—when he knows it will make me happier.” Mollie King is beautiful as a flower

is beautiful. She is the kind of an idealist, such as her southern husband would place on a pinnacle to love, admire and worship. But she is the Mollie King of stage and screen—vivid as a flame—who has sung and danced herself Into the hearts of thousands and is adored by picture fans the world over. Will she, in course of time, be content to “sit on a cushion and sew a fine seam ?” Or will her aristocrat husband reconcile himself to Mollie and a career? At any rate, Kenneth, * r r., is not going to be an actor, but a lawyer. That's settled. -I- -I- -I----OX VIEW TODAY. country. His splendid conceptions and execution of the various roles he has essayed have won him this distinction. Mr. Hampden does not aim at revolutionizing Shakespeare, he takes the same course based on the original productions by the Bard himself at the Globe Theater 300 years ago. His idea is that the Shakespearean cycle is more entertaining than the plays of the present day, that the dominant motive is entertainment and not instruction.
THIN PEOPLE NEED BiTROPKPHATE Ail that most weak, nervous, thin, men-tally-depressed people need is ten grains of pure organic phosphate with each meal for a few weeks. That's what nerve specialists in I,ondon. Paris and New York are prescribing with wonderful results. It is natural food for nerve and brain cells and is known to such reliable pharmacists as Hook's drug stores as BitroPhosphate. Because of its power to help create healthy flesh and strengthen weak nerves, much of it is being sold to people who are lacking in vitality. CAUTION: Although Bitro-Phosphate is an excellent aid in relieving weak, nervous conditions, its use is not advised unless increased weight is desired.—Advertisement.

The Vatican at Rome Recommends Nuxated Iron If you lack BODILY or MENTAL VIGOR; If you are WEAK; NERVOUS or IRRITABLE, TRY NUXATED IRON TODAY.
Nuxated Iron CONTAINS ORGANIC IRON LIKE THE IRON IN YOUR BLOOD and LIKE THE IRON IN SPINACH. LENTILS AND APPLES. NUXATED IRON also contains a remarkable product, b rought to the attention of the French Academy of Medicine by the celebrated Dr. Robin, which represents the principal chemical constituent of active living nerve force FOR FEEDING THE NERVES, so that NUXATED IRON might be said to be both a BLOOD and a NERVE FOOD. THERE ARE 30,000,000,000,000 RED BLOOD CORPUSCLES in your blood and each one must have iron. Today about one person out of every three is said to suffer more or less from the great devitalizing weakness brought on by malnutrition or lack of sufficient nourishment; which is caused NOT BY LACK OF FOOD, but often by LACK OF SUFFICIENT ORGANIC IRON In the blood to enable us to GET THE STRENGTH OUT of our food.
IRON IS THE MASTER PRINCIPLE OF THE BLOOD AND BLOOD IS LIFE. Our forefathers ate the huske of grains aud the skins and peels of vegetables and fruits, rich in strength-giving organic Iron, but modern methods of cookery throw all these things away—hence the alarming increase, in recent years, in Anaemia —iron starvation of the blood with all its attendant ilia. When, ub a result of iron starvation, yon get up feeling tired in the morning, when you find yourself nervous, irritable and easily upset; when you can no longer do your day's work without being all fagged out at nigbt; when your digestion all goes wrong, or you have pains across the back, shortness of breath, heart palpitation or your face looks pale and drawn, do not wait until you go all to pieces and collapse in a state of nervous prostration, or until in your weakened condition you contract some serious disease, but consult your family physician and have him take a specimen of your blood and make a “blood-count” of your red blood corpuscles or test the ironpower of your blood yourself by adding plenty of tpinach, carrot*, or other Ironcontaining fruits and vegetables to your dally food and take organic iron—Nuxated Iron—with them for a while and see how much your condition Improves.
