RICHMOND STILL KEEPER GUILTY Joe Fields Fined SIOO and Sentenced to Farm. Special to The Times. RICHMOND, Ind.. March 13.—Raids by police officers netted about SOO gallons of corn and rye mash and two stills, and brought a fine and sentence for Joe Fields, owner of one of the stills. In municipal court Monday. Floyd Cook, alleged owner of the other still, pleaded not guilty and was released on $2,000 bond. One of the stills was the largest even captured by the local police. Fields, who first had pleaded not guilty. was fined SIOO and was sentenced to forty-five days at the State Farm. The still said to have been found in Cook’s home was made of a forty-gallon oil tank for a boiler, forty-gallon barrel for retainer and a coil that was an inch and a half in diameter. A five-bnrner coal oil stove had been used to provide heat, it is said. Police said they found the Btill In a locked room in the Cook home, to which they forced entrance over Cook’s protest.
