15 DAYS’ BILL FOR TAX WORK TOTALS $7,142 Partial Expense of Assessing Center Township Property Is Enumerated. SUBMIT REPORT TODAY Th. first flft.cn days of assessing tx■blea in Center Township will cost the taxpayers of Marion County a total of $7,142, according to the first pay roll to be submitted to the Marlon County commissioners for their approval today by Township Assessor Michael Jefferson. The asseesor’s pay roll shows that there were 146 outside deputy assessors hired in Center Township for the period of AUrch 1 to March 15 of this year. The wotal number of hours these outside depBMes worked, according to Mr. Jefferson, ■tala 1,786 days at $4 a day, making the PR>tai $7,064. One deputy worked thirteen days at $6 a day, which brought the entire total to 87,142.
